LARGER THAN LIFE

In February 2017, the FIS Alpine Skiing World Championship started with a bang. Edy Reinalter, star of the 1948 Olympic Winter Games, experienced a big comeback at a height of 17 metres. Thanks to its size, the sculpture housed three platforms on its shoulder, chest and head. The dashing ski legend was certainly a memorable part of that year’s World Championship, and the question of where he would go next was much discussed long after the event.
